August is here! It's the most beautiful time of the year on the lake. Enjoy the last of these gorgeous sunsets and beach days before school starts!

Every Tuesday in Douglas from 10-1, and Friday in Saugatuck at the SCA, the hearts of our small towns come alive with bustling farmers' markets that draw locals and visitors alike. The Tuesday market is a delightful midweek gathering where residents can shop for fresh, organic produce, artisanal goods, and handmade crafts while enjoying the warm camaraderie of neighbors. Stalls bursting with colorful fruits and vegetables, fragrant flowers, a new food truck, and locally sourced products create a feast for the senses.

Fridays bring a festive energy to the town as the farmers' market transforms the Saugatuck Center for the Arts into a lively celebration, featuring artists, and family-friendly activities. It’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend!

Beyond the markets, our lakeside town offers a wealth of outdoor activities, charming shops, and cozy cafes, inviting visitors to explore and unwind.
